All Egyptian detainees in Israel are criminals, not war prisoners

CAIRO: Security bodies followed up the file of prisoner swap between Egypt and Israel in coordination with the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Egyptian foreign Ministry spokesman, determine the number of cases of Egyptian prisoners in Israel Amr Rushdi said.

He added communications between Egyptian embassy in Tel-Aviv and the Foreign Ministry still continues to know the latest developments concerning the swap deal between American-Israeli spy Eilan Grapil and the Egyptian prisoners who were detained over criminal crimes. There are no war prisoners or anyone detained for political issues.

There was conflicting news on the number of Egyptian prisoners in Israel. It is also expected the swap deal will be concluded within the next few days.
