Blind Sheikh’s son dies in air raid in Afghanistan

Ahmed Omar Abdel Rahman, the son of the detained Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, died today in an air raid in Afghanistan, Spokesman of the Islamic Gama’a Islamiyya Mohamed Hassan told Youm7.

Gama’a Islamiyya offered its condolences to the Sheikh’s family.

Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman has been detained in U.S. prison for over 18 years after being convicted for participation of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Rahman received a life sentence.

"مريم العذراء" أعلى الإيرادات فى فنزويلا الفيلم حقق أعلى الإيرادات فى فنزويلا طهران (إفى) قالت تقارير إخبارية إيرانية إن فيلم مريم العذراء الإيرانى وجد ترحيبا كبيرا فى فنزويلا، محققا أعلى الإيرادات فى سينمات البلد اللاتينى. وقالت وكالة (فارس) الإيرانية اليوم إن نجاح الفيلم فى دور السينما دفع الجهات الثقافية فى كاراكاس إلى عرضه فى التلفزيون المحلى عدة مرات، كان آخرها الليلة الماضية بالتزامن مع احتفالات عيد القيامة.وأضافت الوكالة فى تقرير لها إن عددا من قساوسة الكنيسة الكاثوليكية الفنزويلية طالبوا بعرض الفيلم، الذى شارك فى عدة فعاليات سينمائية فى فنزويلا، لمرات عديدة. وقد تم إنتاج الفيلم الذى يتحدث عن حياة السيدة مريم العذراء فى إيران، وقام بإنتاجه المخرج والكاتب الإيرانى شهريار بحرانى، وتمت ترجمته باللغة الأسبانية. ويشار إلى أن إيران وفنزويلا تتمتعان بعلاقات ثقافية متميزة، حيث تشمل الاتفاقيات العديدة التى يتم التوقيع عليها فى الزيارات المتبادلة بين الرئيسين أحمدى نجاد وهوجو شافيز، إلى جانب تلك المتعلقة بالجوانب الاقتصادية
